GECO Activities and programs are all focused to empower the community, its youth, families and elderly. Below are more specifics regarding our programs.
P4 - SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD
Access to appropriate nutrition and social support services for the youth, children, their primary caregivers and or households at risk of starvation. These meals provided 5 days of the week enables patients to take their medication needed to promote their health, prevents malnutrition and lack of concentration among children/ youth and assists unprivileged households with a meal for the day.
Providing quality development, care and protection with a holistic approach that physically, mentally, emotionally, morally and socially develops children to broaden their knowledge, build their confidence, better their reading and writing, learn computer literacy and address social challenges all during their developmental phase.
P6 - ELDERLY CARE (PIKKEWYNE)
Applying community based care and support to the elderly in the community. Senior citizen lives are enriched by ensuring the last developmental life phase of the human life is fulfilled. Seeing to their basic needs, providing arts and crafts workshops, agricultural activities and making their life as joy filled possible.
